A 23-year-old man was jailed after being convicted of a violent home invasion in Cork, Ireland, in 2023, involving knife threats, assaults, and theft.
Martin Ekhosuehi, 23, of Glanmire, County Cork, was remanded in custody for sentencing on March 14, 2026, after being convicted of aggravated burglary, two counts of assault causing harm, and two counts of making threats to kill or cause serious injury.
The crimes occurred on July 2, 2023, when Ekhosuehi and an accomplice forced entry into a Cork city home, threatening two male students with a knife and screwdriver, demanding drugs and cash, and assaulting them.
One victim suffered nerve damage and ongoing anxiety, while a glove left at the scene matched Ekhosuehi’s fingerprint.
CCTV footage and a tip from a victim’s girlfriend aided the investigation.
