The Multan Sultans rebrand from Sialkot Stallionz for PSL 2026, backed by new ownership and a higher franchise fee.
The Sialkot Stallionz have officially rebranded as the Multan Sultans for the 2026 Pakistan Super League season, following a takeover by CD Ventures led by Gohar Shah, who acquired the franchise for Rs1.85 billion.
The change, approved by the PSL and PCB, restores the Multan Sultans name after the original team was rebranded.
Shah, the new CEO, cited regional cricket heritage and fan loyalty as key reasons.
The franchise fee has increased to Rs2 billion.
The team will compete as Multan Sultans in PSL Season 11 starting March 26, with final squad decisions pending.
