Macquarie Asset Management and South Korea’s Gabia Inc. have committed $420 million over four to six years to build a hyperscale data center platform across South Korea, starting with a 40 MW facility in Ansan to support AI and cloud workloads in the Seoul region.
The project, backed by Macquarie Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Fund 4, aims to deliver over 100 MW of capacity, leveraging Gabia’s subsidiary KINX for network infrastructure and operations.
Macquarie leads financing and site development, while Gabia manages construction, operations, and customer acquisition.
