Ireland's inflation rate eased slightly to 2.4% in February 2026 from 2.5% in January, according to the Central Statistics Office. Prices rose 0.7% month-on-month, driven by a 0.4% increase in energy and a 0.1% rise in food prices, which were up 3.4% annually. Service prices climbed 0.8% in the month and 3.3% over the year. Core inflation, excluding energy and unprocessed food, was also 2.4%. Eurostat is set to release Eurozone inflation data on March 3.
