Fletcher Sharpe injured his PCL in a win over the Cowboys, will miss one game, and is set to return March 21.
Newcastle Knights' 21-year-old five-eighth Fletcher Sharpe will miss only one game after suffering a PCL injury during the team's 28-18 win over the North Queensland Cowboys in Las Vegas on March 2, 2026. Initially feared to be an ACL tear, the injury was confirmed as less serious, and Sharpe is targeting a return for the Round 3 clash against the Warriors on March 21. He scored a try and set up another before going down in the 26th minute. The Knights' victory marked their first in over 250 days, with strong performances from Kalyn Ponga and Sandon Smith. Scans are pending upon the team’s return to Australia.
