The Washington Commanders signed veteran lineman Nick Allegretti to a two-year extension after he started at center late in the 2025 season.
The Washington Commanders have signed veteran offensive lineman Nick Allegretti to a two-year contract extension through 2027, according to NFL Network.
The move comes after Allegretti started the final two games of the 2025 season at center due to an injury to Tyler Biadasz, who is expected to be released.
Allegretti, 30, has played in 107 games over seven seasons, primarily as a guard, with the Chiefs and Commanders, winning three Super Bowls with Kansas City.
His performance in a limited role at center appears to have earned the team’s confidence despite inconsistent play during the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
