Warburg Pincus will invest up to $1 billion in Global Eggs, a Brazil-based egg producer founded in 2018, valuing the company at $8 billion.
The funding, from the Warburg Pincus Capital Solutions Founders Fund, will support expansion into new markets across the U.S., South America, and Europe, enhance production and logistics, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
The company, which operates over 50 farms through subsidiaries in Brazil, the U.S., and Europe, is projected to produce more than 15 billion eggs in 2026.
Allison Ross, a Warburg Pincus principal, will join Global Eggs’ board.
The investment reflects growing private equity interest in sustainable food systems and global protein supply chains.
