Siemens launches AI toolkit for chip design, enabling autonomous tasks with human oversight.
Siemens has launched the Questa One Agentic Toolkit, an AI-powered enhancement to its EDA software that uses autonomous agents to streamline IC design and verification.
The toolkit, integrated with Siemens’ Fuse EDA AI system, enables AI to perform complex tasks like generating synthesizable RTL from natural language, checking code for errors, verifying clock domain crossings, planning verification, and accelerating debugging—all within user-defined governance and with human oversight.
It works with existing tools and platforms, including NVIDIA Llama Nemotron and major IDEs, and leverages curated prompt libraries and model context protocols for reliable performance.
The solution is currently available through an early access program.
