Motorola has appointed Ipshita Chowdhury as Marketing Head for India, succeeding Gagandeep Bedi, who was promoted to Lead of Asia Pacific Marketing Strategy and Operations.
The move underscores Motorola’s focus on India, a key growth market where it achieved 52.4% industry growth in Q3 FY25 and holds an 8.3% smartphone market share.
Chowdhury, with over 20 years of experience in telecom, automotive, and FMCG sectors, will lead marketing strategy in India, while Bedi will support regional strategy across APAC.
Both report to Shivam Ranjan, head of marketing for Asia Pacific.
The leadership changes aim to strengthen Motorola’s brand presence and growth in India and the broader region.
