A 33-year-old Miami man was sentenced to 55 months in prison and three years of supervised release for possessing over 450 stolen or counterfeit access devices, including credit card and Social Security numbers, linked to a 2020 FBI investigation.
He pleaded guilty in December 2025 to possession of unauthorized access devices and aggravated identity theft.
Federal agents found extensive fraud evidence at his home, including fake IDs, counterfeit cards, a card re-encoder, $11,000 in cash, and personal data stored on electronic devices.
The fraud caused an estimated $250,000 to $550,000 in losses.
The case was prosecuted by the Justice Department and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
