Froo, a convenience store chain owned by Poland’s Żabka Group, has expanded into Romania’s cities of Brașov, Craiova, and Ploiești, bringing its total footprint in the country to over 190 stores.
The chain, which launched in mid-2024, has rapidly grown, opening 100 stores in its first year and now offering coffee and hot food through its bistro concept.
The expansion supports the Żabka Group’s plan to open 1,300 new stores annually in Poland and Romania by 2028.
