Floyd Mayweather announces a June 2026 exhibition fight against Mike Zambidis in Athens ahead of a September rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
Floyd Mayweather has announced an exhibition boxing match against 45-year-old Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis on June 14, 2026, in Athens, Greece, as part of his buildup to a highly anticipated professional rematch with Manny Pacquiao on September 19, 2026, in Las Vegas.
The bout, set at the Telekom Center, will be Mayweather’s first fight since retiring in 2017 and serves as a non-title, entertainment-focused event.
Zambidis, a former 18-time kickboxing world champion with 157 wins in 181 fights, has not fought professionally since 2015 and last competed in boxing in 2019.
Mayweather, who retired with a perfect 50-0 record, shared excitement about the event on Instagram, calling it a “legendary battle.” A potential April exhibition against Mike Tyson in the Congo remains unconfirmed.
The September rematch will be streamed live worldwide on Netflix at no additional cost.
