CBSE delays India's Class 10 and 12 exams in Middle East due to regional conflict, no cancellations.
Due to rising regional tensions and security concerns, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, in several Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
The delay, caused by the ongoing conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel, affects thousands of Indian students in the Gulf region.
New exam dates will be announced later, and a review is scheduled for March 3 to evaluate subsequent exams.
CBSE confirmed no cancellations and rejected a fraudulent circular claiming exam replacement with internal assessments.
Students and schools are advised to rely solely on official communications for updates.
