AMD has launched the Ryzen AI 400 and Ryzen AI PRO 400 desktop processors, the company’s first desktop chips with a dedicated NPU for on-device AI processing, enabling Microsoft Copilot+ features.
Built on Zen 5 and RDNA 3.5, the APUs deliver up to 50 TOPS of AI performance and are designed for enterprise and professional use, with no boxed consumer versions planned.
The lineup includes six SKUs with up to 8 CPU cores and Radeon 860M graphics, targeting efficiency and AI workloads.
Systems are expected in Q2 2026 from OEMs like HP, Lenovo, and Dell.
