Transport for NSW has selected Option 4 as the preferred design for a pedestrian and cycle bridge at Eveleigh, connecting Wilson Street in Darlington to Locomotive Street in South Eveleigh across an active railway corridor.
The plan, developed with input from ARUP, Curio Projects, and SCT Consulting, includes a ramp from Wilson Street, a steel truss bridge with a central pier, and vertical access via lift and escalators.
The design, coordinated with Train NSW, aims to support the Central-Eveleigh Innovation and Technology Precinct and improve regional connectivity.
A full 338-page report, released under GIPA, includes engineering, heritage, and catchment analyses, though cost estimates were not provided.
