Manipur CM launched education and infrastructure projects, initiated highway upgrades, and ordered probes into misconduct and delayed aid.

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh announced steps to address teacher shortages at Moirangpurel Higher Secondary School and inaugurated three major projects: a bridge under PMGSY, a model residential school funded by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs, and a Science and Arts Block costing over Rs 3.78 crore, all aimed at improving education and infrastructure. He also flagged off the upgrade of an 18.5 km stretch of National Highway-2 from Lamlai to Thoubal Dam. The CM directed a police probe into alleged misconduct by security personnel along the highway and ordered swift resolution of delayed Direct Benefit Transfer payments for displaced families from Laikhong village.
