A man and two passengers were arrested after a reckless I-69 chase ending in Henderson County, with Buckner facing multiple charges and warrants.
Three people, including a 27-year-old Indiana man, were arrested Friday after a high-speed chase on I-69 that began in Hopkins County and ended in Henderson County.
Officers initiated the pursuit after observing a black Hyundai Tucson driving recklessly near mile marker 111, with the vehicle allegedly discarding items and fleeing.
The chase paused near school zones before resuming and ending when the driver lost control near mile marker 149, fled on foot, and was captured near the Henderson County Fairgrounds.
The driver, Ronzay T. Buckner, faces multiple charges including fleeing police, reckless driving, drug trafficking, and tampering with evidence, along with five active warrants from other states and two in Kentucky.
Two passengers, Jashon A. Samuel and Aaviyona K. Jolley, were charged with tampering with physical evidence.
No injuries were reported, and all three were taken into custody at the Hopkins County Jail.
