The project, part of seven national mega parks under the PM MITRA scheme, is being developed at a cost of Rs 1,894 crore with sustainable infrastructure including a 20 MLD zero-liquid discharge system, a 15 MLD effluent treatment plant, a 20 MW solar power plant, and plug-and-play units.
Located near NH 44 and 106 km from Tuticorin Port, the park aims to boost India’s integrated textile value chain and global competitiveness, with infrastructure work worth Rs 550 crore underway and completion targeted by December 2027.
