Artist JR will turn Paris’s Pont Neuf into a temporary, immersive cave-like art installation from June 6–28, 2026.
French artist JR, known as the French Banksy, will transform Paris’s Pont Neuf bridge into a temporary cave-like installation called Pont Neuf Cavern from June 6 to 28, 2026.
The 120-meter-long, 17-meter-tall structure, made of pale golden fabric, will create an immersive, lightless tunnel with augmented reality elements developed by Snap’s AR studio.
Visitors will experience a digitally enhanced, sound-rich environment designed to reconnect people with nature and shared human experience.
The bridge will close to traffic during the event, with limited access and continuous monitoring.
The project, inspired by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, coincides with Paris Fashion Week and World Music Day.
El artista JR convertirá el Pont Neuf de París en una instalación artística temporal e inmersiva similar a una cueva desde el 6 al 28 de junio de 2026.
