MaineDOT to honor two fallen workers in I-95 crash with public memorial on Feb. 28.
The Maine Department of Transportation will hold a memorial ceremony on Saturday, February 28, honoring James Brown, 60, and Dwayne Campbell, 51, two former employees who died in a January 13 construction zone crash on I-95 in Waterville.
A procession departing from the Fairfield Training Center at noon will travel south on I-95 to the Augusta Civic Center, where a ceremony begins at 1:15 p.m.
The event, open to the public with limited seating, includes vehicles from MaineDOT, regional partners, and transportation agencies across New England.
Attendees should enter through the North Wing, as parking is limited and brief traffic delays are expected along the route.
