EnerSynk Group has named former Mauritian President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim as Emeritus Chairperson as it expands clean energy projects globally. The company, focusing on solar, storage, and carbon capture, is advancing a 500-megawatt solar project in Zambia and a 150-megawatt project in Zimbabwe. Its FORESTA™ system uses microalgae in containerized units to capture 8 to 14 metric tons of CO₂ annually, with ISO certification pending. EnerSynk plans to grow its presence in Europe and the U.S., aiming to establish Bocsa, Hungary, as a manufacturing hub.
