The Chhattisgarh government transferred ₹10,324 crore directly to 25.28 lakh farmers ahead of Holi under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, covering the gap between Minimum Support Price and prior payments.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced the disbursement during a ceremony in Bilaspur, where seven projects worth ₹15.99 crore were inaugurated and 82 more valued at ₹247.18 crore were launched.
The funds aim to boost rural livelihoods and support farmers during the festival.
The state also highlighted progress in housing under PMAY, dairy development with the NDDB, and infrastructure upgrades in health, education, and agriculture.
