Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley dismissed claims by Trinidad and Tobago’s PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar that businessman Brent Thomas was “kidnapped” in 2022, calling the term defamatory.
She said Barbados acted on a valid arrest warrant from Trinidad and Tobago, following regional practice, with no prior knowledge of the operation.
