Abdul Jalloh, 32, has been charged with the second-degree murder of 41-year-old Stephanie Minter, who was fatally stabbed at a bus stop in Fairfax County, Virginia, on February 24, 2026.
Surveillance footage showed Jalloh exiting a bus with Minter before she was found with multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead.
He was arrested the next day on a separate larceny charge after being spotted at a liquor store.
Jalloh has a lengthy criminal history, including over a dozen arrests for violent offenses such as malicious wounding and larceny, with multiple cases dismissed due to uncontactable victims.
Authorities confirmed he had a prior conviction for malicious wounding in 2023 and had been on parole.
The motive remains under investigation.
