A 20-year-old man pleaded not guilty in the 2025 death of his pregnant girlfriend, struck during a dispute at a wharf.
A 20-year-old East Liverpool man, Cameron Martin, pleaded not guilty via video to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide in the death of his pregnant 21-year-old girlfriend, Stephanie Householder, who died July 20, 2025, after being struck by a vehicle during a reported argument.
The incident occurred July 19 at a wharf, with prosecutors alleging Martin ran her over while operating a motor vehicle during or after a dispute.
Police said Martin’s initial statement did not indicate intent to harm her.
Judge Scott Washam upheld a $100,000 bond, and defense attorneys were appointed, though another lawyer is in talks to take over.
Judge Megan Bickerton was assigned the case, with a pretrial hearing to be scheduled.
Householder’s family attended the hearing wearing shirts honoring her memory.
