Three Alabama women indicted for allegedly forging absentee ballots in a 2025 election, facing up to 10 years in prison.
Three Monroe County women—Sharon Crayton Denson, 67, Samantha Trashawn Kyles, 46, and Sarah Crayton Bennett, 59—were indicted on 37 charges related to voter fraud in the August 26, 2025, Frisco City election.
They face allegations of falsifying absentee ballot applications and unlawfully submitting ballots on behalf of 20 individuals.
Charges include ballot harvesting and unlawful use of absentee ballots, with penalties ranging from fines to up to 10 years in prison.
All three are jailed at Monroe County Jail, with bail set between $21,000 and $54,000.
The case is being prosecuted by the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.
