Kyrgyzstan has expanded early childhood education by doubling preschool enrollment since 2021, reopening 25 illegally privatized kindergartens and opening 500 short-term kindergartens and 60 development centers.
The government also completed 76 new schools in 2025, including a 500-seat school in Naryn and a new school in Shaty village, with plans to build 36 more in Bishkek in 2026.
Additional investments were made in irrigation, water supply, and energy, including plans for 13 small hydropower plants.
These efforts reflect broader progress in public infrastructure and economic development under President Sadyr Japarov.
