Delhi CM Rekha Gupta attacked Arvind Kejriwal’s integrity after his acquittal in a corruption case tied to a scrapped liquor policy.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta accused Arvind Kejriwal of hypocrisy, criticizing his image as an honest common man while living in a luxury home and using government jets. She questioned his integrity after the Delhi High Court discharged him and 21 others in the 2021–22 excise policy case, which was scrapped following a CBI probe into alleged corruption. Gupta highlighted controversial policy changes, including higher commissions for liquor traders and free liquor giveaways, and cited judicial warnings and money laundering allegations. She claimed Kejriwal was removed from power due to misconduct and said the CBI has appealed the court’s decision.
