Quebecor's net income rose 19% in Q4 2025, driven by higher ARPU and new mobile customers.
Quebecor Inc. reported a 19% increase in fourth-quarter net income to $211.5 million, driven by a rise in average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) to $35.23—the first year-over-year gain in nearly three years—and 73,900 new mobile lines added.
The company, which operates under the Videotron, Fizz, and Freedom brands, became the first of Canada’s Big 4 telecom providers to post positive ARPU growth in almost two years, attributed to its lower-cost plans and expanded coverage.
Adjusted earnings rose to 99 cents per share from 80 cents, and revenue reached $1.55 billion, up from $1.50 billion, though full-year revenue remained flat amid ongoing industry pricing pressures.
