Panera Bread has launched its first nationwide value menu, "Mix & Match," offering up to 10 half sandwiches, half salads, or soup cups for $4.99 each when two or more items are purchased. The promotion, available in stores, via app, and online, includes a free side and is separate from its existing "You Pick Two" option. It features popular items like Toasted Italiano, Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad, and Creamy Tomato Soup, with seasonal rotations. The move, part of Panera’s Panera Rise turnaround strategy, aims to boost traffic and competitiveness amid declining sales and rising pressure from fast-casual rivals.
