Kazakhstan has launched the Valley of Data Centers project in Ekibastuz, aiming to become Central Asia’s largest digital hub with up to 1 GW of energy capacity.
Officially initiated in January 2026, the project spans 1,400 hectares and includes a Greenfield zone with 100 MW initial capacity, designed to attract international tech firms.
It targets $30 billion in investment, over 500 high-skilled jobs, and improved digital infrastructure with Tier III standards and a target PUE of 1.25.
