Gujarat allocates $80M for village sanitation and $37M for tribal bridges to improve rural infrastructure.
Gujarat has allocated Rs 650 crore for the Mukhyamantri Nirmal Gram Yojana, targeting improved sanitation in 667 villages across 12 districts through door-to-door waste collection and public space cleaning.
The scheme, active in 21 talukas and urban development authorities, supports waste transport to processing units and asset maintenance under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
