Digital Edge powers its 350MW Indian data center with 83MW solar via a 2026 pact, cutting 100K tons CO2 yearly.
Digital Edge has secured an 83MW solar Power Purchase Agreement with Hexa Climate Solutions to power the first phase of its 350MW AI-ready data center campus in Navi Mumbai, starting December 2026.
The renewable energy is expected to offset 100,000 tonnes of CO2 annually and will be delivered in phases, aligned with current regulatory limits.
Digital Edge will take a minority equity stake in the projects, securing captive user status.
The campus, developed with NIIF and AGP Sustainable Assets, features a first-of-its-kind recycled water system using treated greywater for cooling, aiming for a PUE of 1.25 and Water Utilization Effectiveness below 1.75.
The initiative reduces freshwater demand and generates revenue by supplying treated water to the community.
The project supports India’s digital transformation and aligns with global sustainability goals.
