The Delhi International Film Festival 2026 opens March 25 with 125 films, masterclasses, and global participation.
The International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026 launched with a curtain raiser event, unveiling its official logo and confirming the festival will run from March 25 to 31 at Bharat Mandapam.
Organized by the Delhi government, it aims to position Delhi as a global cinema hub, featuring over 125 films, masterclasses, a film market, and cultural events showcasing the city’s heritage.
Over 2,000 film entries from more than 100 countries are expected.
Prominent figures including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, actor Divya Dutta, and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra praised the event as a platform for emerging talent, highlighting Delhi’s affordability and cinematic legacy.
