Delhi High Court blocks unauthorized use of Kajol’s image, voice, and likeness by major platforms and AI services.
The Delhi High Court has issued an interim order protecting Indian actress Kajol’s personality rights, banning unauthorized use of her name, image, voice, and likeness by platforms including Amazon, Meta, YouTube, and AI services like SpicyChat.ai and Talkie-ai.com.
The ruling, dated February 20, 2026, comes from a lawsuit in which Kajol alleged her identity was used without consent to sell merchandise, create AI-generated content, and distribute altered or pornographic material.
The court recognized her trademark rights and found she faced potential irreparable harm, granting temporary relief to prevent further misuse.
