Cyprus ranked among Europe’s fastest-growing aviation markets in 2025, surpassing the continent’s 4.4% average growth with a 12% increase in passenger traffic, reaching a record 13.75 million travelers across Larnaka and Pafos International Airports. Larnaka handled 9.91 million passengers, a 14% rise, while Pafos saw 3.84 million, up 5%. Strong winter travel demand and a network of 60 airlines operating 160 routes to 41 destinations in Europe and the Middle East fueled the growth, reflecting the effectiveness of Cyprus’s long-term aviation strategy.
