CBI, with INTERPOL and UAE help, extradited fugitive Anil Kumar Reddy Yeddula from Dubai to Hyderabad on Feb. 26, 2026.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) coordinated the extradition of Anil Kumar Reddy Yeddula, a fugitive wanted in Andhra Pradesh on charges of cheating, criminal breach of trust, and criminal intimidation, from the UAE to India on February 26, 2026.
Working with INTERPOL, the UAE, and Indian federal agencies, Yeddula was arrested in Dubai and handed over to Andhra Pradesh police at Hyderabad’s airport.
A Red Notice, issued in September 2022, enabled the international operation.
This marks one of over 130 fugitives returned to India via INTERPOL in recent years.
The CBI, India’s INTERPOL National Central Bureau, also recently facilitated the return of another fugitive, Sombir Motta, from the United States.
