Brooklyn and LA celebrated the Lunar New Year’s Year of the Horse with cultural events featuring performances, traditions, and community gatherings.

Brooklyn’s Lunar New Year festivities, marking the Year of the Horse, include a community gathering on February 27 at Borough Hall and a main event on March 1 at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, featuring lion dances, kung fu, storytelling, calligraphy, and music. The Los Angeles Zoo also celebrated the Year of the Horse on February 21 with cultural performances, a “Money God” appearance, and activities promoting heritage and community. Both events highlight cultural traditions and unity.
