Alfa Romeo South Africa is extending production of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models until 2027, reversing earlier plans to discontinue them by 2025. The move follows Stellantis’ strategic shift due to weak EV demand and financial losses, embracing multiple powertrains including combustion engines. The high-performance models, powered by a 2.9L V6 producing 375 kW and 600 Nm, feature upgrades like Akrapović exhausts and carbon fibre components, with the Giulia accelerating to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and the Stelvio in 3.8 seconds. Both offer five-year or 100,000 km warranties and maintenance.
