Xtracycle has launched the Swoop ASM, an electric longtail cargo bike for families, available for pre-order starting February 24, 2026, with deliveries beginning March 31. Priced at $4,499—$500 off the original launch price—the bike features a Class-3 motor, Shimano EP6 drive, 203 mm hydraulic brakes, front suspension, and fully integrated Shimano Di2 electronic shifting with automatic gear adjustments and Auto Start. Designed for riders up to 6'5", it includes a kid carrier, front and rear racks, wheel skirts, footrests, integrated lighting, a heavy-duty kickstand, and free shipping with local assembly.
