Oliver "Power" Grant, a foundational figure in the Wu-Tang Clan's rise from Staten Island underground artists to global hip-hop icons, has died at age 52.
He served as executive producer on the group’s classic albums, helped finance the collective, and founded Wu-Wear, the group’s influential streetwear brand that expanded into major retailers and was later relaunched with Live Nation.
Grant also acted in films like "Belly" and "The Wood".
His passing was confirmed by member Method Man, who paid tribute on social media.
The cause of death has not been disclosed.
