Waymo now operates in ten major markets after launching its fully driverless ride-hailing service in Houston and adding four more U.S. cities: Dallas, San Antonio, Orlando, and Houston. The service uses electric autonomous vehicles with sensors and artificial intelligence (AI) to navigate safely. It is accessible through the Waymo app in most cities and through Uber in Houston. The rollout, which is initially restricted to a small number of users, prioritizes safety and intends to increase access as public confidence and performance improve. By 2026, the company wants to reach one million weekly paid trips, and it plans to expand further into cities like Detroit, London, and Las Vegas.
