A Rochester teenager has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery in a December 2025 incident on 4th Avenue Northeast, where two suspects allegedly used guns to steal clothing, phones, and shoes worth over $5,000 from victims who had arranged a meeting.
The teen, Cheng, received a plea deal that dismissed other charges and is set to be sentenced in May 2026.
A search of co-defendant Martinez’s home in Plainview recovered a .22-caliber pistol and clothing matching the stolen items.
Martinez faces multiple counts of robbery and witness tampering and is scheduled for a future court hearing.
The case is part of a broader regional investigation.
