North Carolina sued Holly Christina Photography over $750K in losses from deceptive wedding photo services.
North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson has sued Holly Christina Scott Ayscue, Christopher Owen Ayscue, and their business Holly Christina Photography over 166 complaints alleging deceptive practices that caused about $750,000 in losses.
The company allegedly took large upfront payments for wedding photography services, promised discounts for full payment, and then shut down abruptly on January 25, failing to deliver edited photos, videos, or refunds.
Many clients, including 24 couples with weddings less than 90 days away, were left without coverage or compensation.
The lawsuit seeks injunctions, restitution, and penalties to hold the defendants accountable.
