Nigerian driver Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode appeared in court over a deadly crash during Anthony Joshua’s Nigeria trip, with his case delayed until March 13, 2026.
Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, driver of the Lexus SUV involved in a fatal crash on Nigeria’s Lagos–Ibadan Expressway on December 29, 2025, appeared in Sagamu Magistrates Court and had his case adjourned to March 13, 2026.
The crash killed Anthony Joshua’s personal trainer Latif Ayodele and strength coach Sina Ghami, while Joshua sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized for two days.
Kayode faces multiple charges, including causing death by dangerous driving and driving without a valid license.
Prosecutors requested more time to prepare evidence, and the court granted the adjournment.
The incident occurred during Joshua’s holiday visit to Nigeria following his December 19 victory over Jake Paul.
