Funded with $134,000, the six-month initiative includes online resources, ads, and in-person sessions for over 700 seniors to recognize and report fraud. It emphasizes hanging up immediately on suspicious calls to prevent financial loss, following nearly $350,000 in scam losses reported by Manitobans aged 60 and older in 2024.
