Kenya holds by-elections in four constituencies with strict voting rules and security measures in place.
Kenya’s IEBC has confirmed that preparations for Thursday’s by-elections are on track, with polling stations opening at 6 a.m. and closing at 5 p.m.
Voters in four constituencies—Isiolo South, West Kabras, Muminji, and Evurore Wards—will vote for vacant seats in the National and County Assemblies.
Campaigning ended at 6 p.m. on February 23, and any further activity is prohibited.
The IEBC has restricted mobile phone use inside polling stations to protect ballot secrecy, banned political symbols, and limited agents to one per station.
Two police officers will be stationed at each polling site, and results will be posted publicly and online.
