JSW Motors has launched its entry into India’s passenger vehicle market with a teaser ad and plans to debut a plug-in hybrid SUV based on the Chery Jetour T2, set for local assembly in Maharashtra. The vehicle, expected to launch around Diwali 2026, will feature a 1.5L PHEV powertrain, 26.7kWh battery, and up to 139 km of electric range, with pricing between Rs 15–30 lakh. The brand is recruiting dealers nationwide and building a retail network, though component import delays may affect timing.
