Joshua Lee Orr, 46, of Concord, was arrested after leading a multi-agency pursuit in a stolen van that began near a Monroe Walmart on Feb. 24, 2026. The chase, which spanned Monroe and Union County, involved stop sticks and ended when Orr crashed through a gate, hit a guardrail, and fled on foot before being captured. He is a fugitive from South Carolina and has a probation violation warrant in North Carolina. Orr now faces felony charges including fleeing to elude, possession of a stolen vehicle, and traffic violations. He is held at the Union County Detention Center.
