Etihad Rail will launch a national passenger rail network in the UAE later in 2026, connecting 11 cities from Al Sila to Fujairah. The service, designed for commuters, business travelers, and families, will offer reliable schedules, guaranteed seating, Wi-Fi, power outlets, and family-friendly features like joint seating and luggage storage. Trips between Abu Dhabi and Dubai will take 57 minutes, with future high-speed service aiming for 30 minutes. The system, built to international safety standards, supports sustainability goals and reflects Emirati values, aiming to carry 36 million passengers annually by 2030.
